1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BankFlow Converter ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BankFlow Converter is a web-based tool that converts PDF bank statements into accounting-compatible file formats (QBO, CSV, OFX). The Service operates entirely in your web browser — all processing is performed client-side and no financial data is transmitted to our servers.

3. Usage and Accuracy

The Service is provided to you "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy and completeness of the converted data before importing it into any accounting software (including but not limited to QuickBooks, Xero, or other financial platforms). We strongly recommend reviewing all generated transactions against your original bank statement.

We make no guarantees regarding the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of the output. Parsing results may vary depending on the format and quality of your PDF bank statement.

4. Free Tier

The Service offers a free tier that allows you to export up to 5 transactions per PDF conversion at no cost. This free tier is available without registration or payment and is intended for evaluation purposes.

5. Paid License — Lifetime Access

Purchasing a license grants you:

• Lifetime access to the full version of the Service with unlimited transaction exports.
• 1 year of free updates to the conversion engine, including new bank presets and parser improvements.
• Use on any device and browser for personal use.

6. Refund Policy

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds after a license key has been activated.

This policy is in place because:

• The Service offers a free tier with up to 5 transactions so you can fully evaluate the tool before purchasing.
• The license provides lifetime access — activation immediately unlocks the full functionality permanently.
• The digital nature of the product means it cannot be "returned" once delivered.

If you experience technical issues preventing the Service from working as described, please contact us before purchasing, and we will be happy to help.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to process documents you do not have the right to access.
• Share, resell, or distribute your license key to others.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the Service.
• Use automated tools to abuse the Service or its APIs.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and documentation, is the intellectual property of BankFlow Converter. Your license grants you the right to use the Service — it does not transfer any ownership rights.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall BankFlow Converter be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the Service, including but not limited to any financial losses resulting from inaccurate conversions.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
